Senior R&D Controller

About the role

Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure as a Senior R&D Controller and lead the financial management of hardware, firmware, and software development projects. You will act as a Finance Business Partner to R&D leadership, ensuring transparency, compliance, and data‑driven decision making across the eMobility community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of R&D projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee contract and license management in coordination with international R&D hubs, ensuring compliance with transfer‑pricing standards.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to project managers and senior leaders.
• Enhance and digitalise reporting tools and processes to support data‑driven decisions.
• Serve as a key user for R&D planning and reporting tools, collaborating with PLM commercial management and performance controlling teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in controlling, financial planning, accounting, or management consulting.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and collaborative spirit.
• Business‑level fluency in English.
