Senior .NET Engineer – Cloud Services (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join a client project focused on building, integrating, and operating resilient cloud‑hosted services that connect with on‑premise systems and agents. The role is hands‑on, requiring deep expertise in C#/.NET, Entity Framework and Azure Container Apps, and a strong emphasis on reliability, observability and production‑grade delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cloud‑native services using .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Integrate on‑premise systems and agents with cloud services, handling rate‑limited and legacy APIs.
• Orchestrate deployments with Azure Container Apps and ensure services meet SLA and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with product, delivery and engineering teams in an agile environment to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Implement test‑driven development, monitoring and observability practices.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Proven expertise with Entity Framework for data access.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing services on Azure Container Apps.
• Solid background in API integration, including rate‑limited and legacy/on‑premise systems.
• Understanding of multi‑tenant authentication, authorization and throttling patterns.
• Commitment to TDD, software craftsmanship and production‑grade code.
• Ability to work in agile teams and communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
