Senior Manager – Chief Risk Officer

About the role

The Senior Manager – Chief Risk Officer leads risk analytics and dealer lending functions for Toyota’s financial services unit. Reporting to both the Managing Director of TCPR and regional leadership, the role blends credit risk expertise, statistical modeling, and cross‑functional partnership to safeguard a $2 billion portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance analytical tools for origination, pricing, collections, credit scorecards, and loss reserve modeling.
• Lead a team that manages the end‑to‑end dealer credit process, including loan structuring, performance monitoring, and remediation of at‑risk dealers.
• Develop and present risk scorecards, portfolio dashboards, stress‑testing, and macro‑risk analyses to senior management.
• Coordinate reporting and compliance with global (TFSC) and regional risk requirements.
• Support FP&A with CECL and IFRS9 model results and documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in credit and operational risk management within a large financial services environment.
• Proven ability to lead risk and analytics teams and influence senior stakeholders across sales, legal, finance, and data science.
• Strong track record of delivering risk‑focused initiatives and managing a multi‑billion‑dollar portfolio.
