Senior Legal Specialist – Legal Counsel

About the role

YILPORT Iberia is looking for a Senior Legal Specialist to join its Legal Department and support the legal activities of YILPORT Iberia and Transitex Global. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic international environment across logistics, transportation and port operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Regional Legal Manager and HQ Legal Team on day‑to‑day matters in Portugal and Spain.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as logistics, transportation, service contracts, supplier agreements and NDAs.
• Provide practical legal advice to business teams on operational and commercial issues.
• Maintain corporate governance records, including board and shareholders’ meeting minutes, resolutions and powers of attorney.
• Assist with compliance initiatives and regulatory matters related to port, maritime, transportation and logistics regulations.
• Coordinate litigation and dispute resolution matters with external counsel.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, reports and presentations.
• Support employment‑related matters in partnership with HR and external advisors.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer under Portuguese law.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong background in commercial and corporate law.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
