Senior IT Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a senior IT Administrator with over six years of experience to drive innovative solutions, enhance operations, and support IT transformation from legacy to modern technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Gather technical requirements and participate in change request processes for system enhancements.
• Perform level‑3 application support, analyze reported issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Plan, implement, and size IT infrastructure components, ensuring smooth production delivery.
• Document technical processes, monitor online flows, batches, and ensure first‑line support has up‑to‑date information.
• Identify product gaps, suggest improvements, and communicate project standards to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT administration.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Italian is a strong advantage.
• Team player with high performance, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced global environment.

Required skills

• Administration of Linux and Windows servers.
• Scripting in Shell, Perl, Python or Ruby.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Git/Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of application servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss.
• Job schedulers (CA Workload Automation, Control‑M).
• Network protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Understanding of system architectures: SSO, firewalls, load balancers, storage systems, basic networking.
