Senior Front End Engineer – Next/React & API Middleware

About the role

Richemont is seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Engineer with full‑stack experience to enhance and maintain its New Retail platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance user interfaces using Next.js and React, while also building API middleware that connects to backend services across its luxury Maisons.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible UI components with Next.js/React.
• Implement state management, component‑based architecture, and performance optimisations.
• Design, develop, and maintain API middleware to support front‑end functionality.
• Contribute to composable architecture discussions, promoting code reuse and scalability.
• Write clean, well‑documented, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Create unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; collaborate with QA on test strategies.
• Ensure alignment with Richemont’s digital, mobile and web standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of front‑end development experience.
• Strong collaborator able to work across global, multi‑time‑zone teams.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑impact projects in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience with composable architectures and micro‑services concepts.
