Senior Flutter Mobile Developer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

This is a senior‑level position focused on owning the mobile experience of a mission‑critical digital retail ecosystem. You will work fully remote, collaborating with product and backend teams to deliver high‑performance Flutter applications that interact directly with specialised retail hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Flutter modules using an Add‑to‑App architecture.
• Integrate native Android/iOS components (Kotlin, Swift) for payment terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners and other retail devices.
• Connect mobile features to Java‑based microservices via REST APIs.
• Implement point‑of‑sale, billing, B2B marketplace, banking, inventory and AI‑assisted user flows.
• Create pixel‑perfect UI from Figma designs, optimised for fast retail environments.
• Build robust offline‑first capabilities using local storage such as SQLite.
• Ensure performance, reliability and crash‑resistance; write integration tests for hardware‑sensitive workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, define best practices and drive high‑quality delivery from planning to production.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on Flutter development, including Add‑to‑App usage.
• Strong background in native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development.
• Experience building offline‑first, high‑performance applications for demanding environments.
