Senior Finance Controlling & Tax Consultant

About the role

You will support the financial steering, governance and operational finance set‑up of our Portugal hub, reporting directly to the Head of Hub and collaborating closely with controlling, operations, corporate finance, tax, legal, payroll and global mobility teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the hub’s financial backbone, including invoicing, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure alignment with international governance standards and SLA‑based service models.
• Support intercompany business processes, transfer‑pricing interfaces and cross‑border employee deployment implications.
• Assist in the future set‑up of an additional hub in Eastern Europe.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in a shared‑services, hub or matrix international corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of intercompany charging, SLA‑based finance models, transfer pricing, budgeting, forecasting, cost‑center management and financial reporting.
• Practical knowledge of European corporate tax topics, especially regarding employee deployment and permanent establishment.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
