Senior Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire data scientists, fostering team building and best‑practice implementation.
• Develop and oversee sophisticated deep and machine‑learning models and statistical algorithms, deploying novel solutions.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to seamlessly integrate ML algorithms into production.
• Write, comment, maintain and share production‑level code to ensure transparency and reliability.
• Explore new ML methods for streamlined analysis of large datasets.
• Create compelling data visualizations and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
• Consult with stakeholders to solve critical business questions and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Take full responsibility for key projects, consistently raising performance standards.
• Identify opportunities to apply data science for improving, optimizing and expanding existing solutions.

Required profile

• Academic degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Statistics or related field.
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in English.
• At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in ML engineering or data‑science roles.
• Hands‑on experience with the full data‑science lifecycle from data collection to model deployment and monitoring.
• Proven experience with deep‑learning and NLP models.
• Strong data‑exploratory skills and ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Solid knowledge of common ML/optimization techniques (classification, regression, clustering, outlier detection) and statistical methods.
• Professional programming experience in Python, Spark and SQL, using popular data‑science and ML libraries.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
