Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The team aims to build a solid database from various sources and develop analysis, reports and dashboards to provide valuable insight to the Front Office in a rapid, agile manner.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources.
• Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines.
• Act as the point of contact for the business and assess its needs.
• Ensure the data architecture meets business requirements.
• Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value.
• Communicate technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high‑quality results.

Required profile

• Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in data architecture.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model at the Lisbon or Porto office.
• Professional experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas) and SQL.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
