About the role
Join the Electronic Equities team to develop and enhance a cutting‑edge ultra‑low latency algorithmic trading platform. You will work on a high‑performance stack that leverages the latest C++ standards, direct network access, and advanced hardware optimisations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain e‑trading platform modules, components and utilities.
- Own the platform lifecycle, including development, CI/CD, support and bug fixing.
- Coordinate with global engineering, business and support teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Drive innovation on green‑field projects, pushing the limits of latency and performance.
Required profile
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team.
Required skills
- Recent C++ (C++11/14/17/20), STL and Boost.
- Strong understanding of design and architecture principles, data structures and algorithms.
- Proficient Linux user with experience using CMake, GCC and GDB.
- Nice to have: Unix shell scripting, Bash, Python.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of FIX protocol or other fintech communication protocols.
