Senior C++ Developer for High‑Performance Trading Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to design, develop, and optimise a high‑performance electronic trading platform. You will work on ultra‑low latency algorithmic trading services and own the full lifecycle of core platform components.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance core platform modules such as algorithmic trading models, market‑data distribution, and exchange connectivity.
• Write modern C++ (C++17/C++20) code that maximises throughput and minimises latency.
• Develop on Linux, applying multi‑threading, CPU affinity, memory optimisation and efficient concurrency.
• Participate in the complete SDLC: analysis, architecture, development, testing, code reviews, performance tuning and documentation.
• Collaborate with production‑support, quantitative, and business teams to ensure reliable deployments and continuous improvement.
• Lead greenfield projects, designing new platform capabilities and next‑generation trading services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives or engineering teams (preferred).
• Strong background in high‑performance, low‑latency, or real‑time distributed systems.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or mission‑critical financial applications is highly valued.
• Solid understanding of modern SDLC and Agile methodologies.
