Senior Backend Developer (.NET C#)

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join its global TechOps team. You will work on designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance APIs and services that power the company’s GlobalLink platform and client‑facing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in all phases of application development, focusing on clean, secure code and debugging.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable .NET APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers, front‑end developers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve bugs, and optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement security best practices and protect sensitive data.
• Develop and maintain automated tests in partnership with automation engineers.
• Provide technical support to users and document operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience building scalable, reliable systems.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean‑code practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
