Senior Android Developer (Hybrid, Portugal)

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join a global technology business’s consumer engineering team. The role is based in Portugal and will be hybrid, working on a large‑scale streaming platform used by millions of customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Implement new customer‑facing features and enhance existing functionality.
- Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
- Write clean, scalable, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, stability and user experience.
Required profile
- Strong commercial experience building native Android apps.
- Deep understanding of modern Android architecture (MVVM, Jetpack libraries).
- Proven track record delivering high‑performance, consumer‑facing mobile applications.
- Comfortable working in Agile product teams and communicating across engineering groups.
