Senior Analyst, Business Development

About the role

Mastercard’s European Public Sector team is seeking a Senior Analyst to support business development and performance improvement across the public sector segment. The role provides analytical support to segment leadership, drives strategic initiatives, and contributes to the development of the segment’s business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the segment’s performance against strategic objectives.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Design and implement reports and dashboards integrating data from internal tools such as Salesforce and MPA.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the public sector.
• Support the development of the segment’s business development strategy and quarterly reviews.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Experience in performance measurement or data analysis in the public sector or related industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and fluency in English plus another European language.
• Consulting background is preferred.
