Senior Advanced Software Engineer – Display Services

About the role

As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer in the Display Services team, you will develop, integrate, and verify core display applications for Honeywell's Next Generation Avionics platform. The role is based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, with an initial onsite period followed by a hybrid work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and verify core Display applications for the Next Generation Avionics platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Test and integrate software on laboratory test benches.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with C++ and object‑oriented programming.
• 5+ years of experience using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• DO‑178C software development lifecycle.
• Software verification and validation using C++.
