Security Engineer – Vulnerability Management & AI-Driven Security Operations

About the role

As a Security Engineer at Bosch, you will enhance the cybersecurity resilience of automotive products by combining vulnerability management with AI‑driven security automation. You will work closely with development teams, PSIRT and other security groups to make security operations smarter and more efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assess and prioritize vulnerabilities from internal and external sources.
• Perform vulnerability triage, risk assessment and impact analysis.
• Coordinate remediation activities with development and product teams.
• Support security incident handling and vulnerability disclosure processes.
• Track vulnerabilities throughout their lifecycle, including pre‑ and post‑SOP monitoring.
• Develop Python‑based automation for use cases such as SecBOM analysis, CVE enrichment and security finding prioritisation.
• Build AI‑driven solutions that reduce manual effort for security teams.

Required profile

• Experience in vulnerability management and product security.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional development and security teams.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and impact analysis.
• Interest in applying AI and automation to security operations.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Knowledge of CVE databases and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with security automation concepts.
