About the role

Aprendizes is seeking a full‑time Secondary Computer Science Teacher to join its vibrant, bilingual campus in Cascais. You will inspire students aged 11‑18, guiding them through inquiry‑based projects and real‑world applications of computing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IGCSE and A‑level Computer Science lessons using student‑centered, project‑based methods.
• Design and adapt curriculum aligned with the Cambridge International framework.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and manage classroom dynamics.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate digital literacy across subjects.
• Participate in school‑wide initiatives, including Erasmus+ international projects.

Required profile

• Passionate about Computer Science and able to make the subject engaging.
• Experience with inquiry‑based, project‑driven teaching approaches.
• Collaborative, innovative mindset with a commitment to critical thinking and global citizenship.
• Fluent English speaker with strong classroom management skills.

Required skills
