Safety Scientist II/III – EMEA

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Safety Scientist II/III to join its EMEA team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering signal detection and product safety activities across a range of product complexities, supporting clinical trial safety monitoring and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute signal detection and product safety tasks from low to ultra‑high complexity.
• Conduct quality reviews of safety deliverables and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead small pharmacovigilance (FSP) projects and support bid defence activities.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the development of processes, tools, and systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients, adhering to contractual and policy requirements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality safety data.
• Ability to work independently while following supervision from senior team members.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience in clinical trial safety monitoring and regulatory reporting.
