Road Freight Operations Specialist

About the role

As a Road Freight Operations Specialist you will coordinate European road freight activities from our Alverca base, ensuring smooth execution across the supply chain. The role combines customer interaction, order management and proactive problem solving in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain close communication with customers and manage their freight orders.
• Supervise order progress to guarantee optimal performance within the overall supply chain.
• Validate order processing and proactively clarify any deviations.
• Take ownership of defined trade lanes and specific customer accounts.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of the Portuguese and European road freight market.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Stress‑resistant, goal‑oriented and solution‑focused mindset.
• Effective communicator in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Experience with a market‑conform Transport Management System (TMS)
