Regulatory Counsel – Wealth & Trading

About the role

The Legal team at Revolut is looking for a Senior Regulatory Counsel to support its wealth and trading product lines. You will provide practical regulatory and commercial advice, helping to launch investment products while ensuring compliance with European financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of launching investment products, from legal assessments to preparing customer‑facing documents and providing ongoing support.
• Advise the business on complex legal and regulatory issues related to product structuring, marketing and promotion.
• Research and analyse regulatory questions, delivering recommendations to support business decisions.
• Assist in the resolution of customer complaints and disputes.
• Partner with commercial Legal Counsels to draft, review and negotiate regulatory clauses in agreements.
• Draft, plan and implement compliance policies and procedures for investment products.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report operational, legal, regulatory and compliance risks.

Required profile

• Master's degree in law with excellent academic credentials.
• At least 5 years of experience in wealth and trading, investment services, financial markets or asset management.
• Background as a private‑practice lawyer at a top law firm; in‑house experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise advising on MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR, PRIIPS, UCITS and related policy implementation.
