Regulatory Counsel (Wealth and Trading)

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide regulatory and strategic legal advice for its wealth and trading products. You will act as a business partner, guiding the launch and ongoing management of investment services while ensuring compliance with complex financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of launching investment products, from legal assessments to drafting customer‑facing documentation.
• Advise on complex regulatory issues related to product structuring, marketing, and promotion of investment services.
• Research and analyse legal and regulatory questions, delivering recommendations to support business decisions.
• Support resolution of customer complaints and disputes.
• Collaborate with commercial legal counsels to draft, review, and negotiate regulatory clauses in agreements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for investment products.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report on operational, legal, regulatory, and compliance risks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in law with strong academic credentials.
• At least 5 years of experience in wealth and trading, investment services, financial markets, or asset management.
• Background as a private‑practice lawyer at a top law firm, preferably with in‑house experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR, PRIIPS, UCITS implementation and related policy support.
