Regulatory Counsel

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join its growing Legal team in Lithuania. The role combines commercial insight with legal expertise to support the development of new payments and banking products while ensuring compliance across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business units on compliance and legal issues related to the structuring of new and existing financial products in payments and banking.
• Draft and review customer‑facing legal documentation for these products.
• Help shape and expand Revolut’s product portfolio while managing regulatory expectations, requirements and applications.
• Engage with European and local regulators to address queries and negotiate approvals.
• Handle complex legal matters with tight deadlines, providing clear and pragmatic solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong academic background and solid law‑firm credentials.
• Demonstrated experience advising on European financial regulations.
• Ability to make decisions under ambiguity and pressure, with a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of PSD2 regulatory framework.
• Experience with the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD).
• Familiarity with European financial regulatory landscape.
