Registered Nurse – Specialty (12‑month contract)

About the role

BCforward is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse Specialty to join a healthcare facility in Humacao, Puerto Rico on a 12‑month contract. The role involves administering ordered therapies, performing patient assessments, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed therapies in accordance with prescriber orders, facility protocols, and INS standards.
• Complete patient admission processes and conduct physical assessments as required.
• Document all patient data, therapy responses, and significant observations in the medical record.
• Report changes to the Center Director and follow up on identified problems.
• Educate patients and families about therapy plans and medication orders.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to all applicable state, local, and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state (multi‑state licensure if serving multiple states).
• ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (BSN preferred).
• Previous management experience is preferred.

What we offer

• Contract duration: 12 months with possible extension.
• Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
• Pay rate: $30 per hour.
