Records Management Officer

About the role

The Records Management Officer will partner with IT, Compliance, Legal, Controls and the Data Management office to ensure the bank’s records are managed in line with regulatory requirements. The role includes a rotating schedule to support the East Coast AMER time zone three times per week and during regulatory exams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update RMO policy, procedures and retention schedule.
• Support automation of manual processing for regulatory and non‑regulatory records.
• Oversee day‑to‑day RMO operations and drive transformation of records management processes.
• Perform governance assessments on new projects and ensure compliance with SEC Rule 17a‑4 D3P testing.
• Collaborate with IT on system administration of internal records repositories and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop training materials and monitor the Records Management Governance Tool.
• Lead WORM governance initiatives and manage third‑party vendor records.
• Develop, monitor and evidence RMO controls and assist with annual regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of professional experience, preferably in global markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and able to work in a changing environment.
• Self‑motivated team player with solid organizational and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
