Real Estate & Facilities Management Director

About the role

Team.blue is building a group‑level Real Estate & Facilities Management function to bring consistency, commercial discipline and a strong employee experience to its 65 sites across Europe. The Director will take over an ongoing estate optimisation programme, ensure its delivery and establish a sustainable internal capability that serves all divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the estate optimisation initiative launched by external advisors, conduct a structured handover and transfer all findings, recommendations and stakeholder relationships.
• Assess the current state of the programme, define a delivery plan with clear milestones, owners and target savings.
• Lead active workstreams such as lease renegotiations, site consolidations and exit processes, working closely with legal, finance and divisional teams.
• Maintain momentum and deliver outcomes without disrupting employees or business operations, reporting progress regularly to the Group COO and senior leadership.
• Design and implement a service model that provides divisions with expert, responsive support on all real‑estate and facilities matters.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject‑matter expert for divisional leaders and local site managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in real‑estate and facilities management at a senior or director level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale optimisation programmes and manage cross‑functional workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with legal, finance and operational teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to report to senior executives.
