React Developer (Next.js & NestJS) – Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra

About the role

We are looking for an experienced React Developer to join Aubay Portugal’s technology teams, working on critical systems for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy. The role focuses on building modern web applications using React, Next.js and NestJS, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain front‑end applications with React and Next.js.
• Implement back‑end services and APIs using NestJS.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance and scalability of delivered features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with React.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Next.js.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with NestJS.
• Fluent English (at least B2 level).
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation and daily commitment.
• Alignment with Aubay’s corporate culture, integrity and ethics.
