R&D Mechanical Engineer

About the role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for creating and developing innovative mechanical products and solutions for our customers. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, durability and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components with a focus on structural integrity and performance.
• Perform detailed calculations of dynamics, forces, static, kinematic and dynamic behavior.
• Predict and validate durability and lifespan through testing and analysis.
• Define, plan and execute test plans and assess prototypes for issues or risks.
• Estimate costs and budgets for new designs.
• Maintain accurate records of design iterations and changes.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including specifications, reports and production manuals.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers and project managers to ensure seamless integration.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in mechanical design or R&D engineering.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving, mathematical and attention‑to‑detail skills.

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
