R&D Engineer – Hardware Validation & Testing for eBike

About the role

We are looking for an R&D Engineer to develop, validate and test electronic hardware for innovative eBike applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, reliable products that meet Bosch’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate and test electronic hardware for eBike solutions.
• Perform functional verification and characterization of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Conduct hands‑on laboratory measurements using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, climatic chambers and soldering/rework equipment.
• Analyze analogue and digital signals, electronic circuits and communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C and CAN to troubleshoot issues.
• Create, maintain and improve test setups, supporting test automation and data acquisition systems.
• Develop automated test solutions with LabVIEW and Python for data acquisition and post‑processing.
• Document validation activities, prepare technical reports and collaborate with R&D teams throughout product development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Experience in electronic hardware validation, testing or development, preferably with PCB validation and laboratory measurements.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics and familiarity with laboratory equipment.
