Quality Engineer – Operations (Porto)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to join our Operations team in Porto. The role blends hands‑on technical work with quality‑assurance responsibilities across manufacturing, assembly, integration and field operations for wind energy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
• Perform inspections, testing and validation during manufacturing, assembly and integration phases.
• Manage non‑conformities, identify root causes and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Installation teams to ensure quality standards on‑site, including international wind farms.
• Monitor and report key quality metrics and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
• Support supplier and component quality evaluation and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with ISO audits and certification processes.

Required profile

• Degree or technical background in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality control, testing or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially root‑cause and failure analysis.
• High attention to detail, proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English and a valid EU work permit.
