Quality Control Analyst – Microbiology

About the role

Hikma is looking for a motivated Quality Control Analyst specialized in Microbiology to join its laboratory team in Portugal. You will work on‑site, ensuring the integrity of the laboratory environment and supporting the production of injectable medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization, including benches, incubators, coolers and storage areas.
• Verify and document environmental monitoring sampling plates from production according to approved procedures.
• Incubate environmental monitoring samples and review the results.
• Prepare materials and labels for environmental monitoring sampling.
• Perform media‑fill incubations and related microbiological tests.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
