QA Engineer (French Speaker) – Hybrid – Porto

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, is seeking a QA Engineer who is fluent in French to join its investment‑banking and financial‑services project based in Porto. The position is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and will focus on ensuring the quality of innovative solutions supporting business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, including both manual and automated testing.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test suites using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Design and run manual test cases covering functional, regression and integration scenarios.
• Log, track and verify defects using Jira and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI) to support continuous delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Fluent in English and French.
