QA Engineer for Checkout

About the role

Ventrata is looking for a QA Engineer with strong automation skills to join its product team. You will work on a mature, actively developed checkout platform that processes thousands of orders daily, ensuring high quality and stability across both the Checkout Widget and the Ticket Management Module.

Key responsibilities

• Expand, maintain, and optimise the Cypress test suite (4,000+ tests across 90+ scenarios).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Review and update tests based on new features, bug reports, and production incidents.
• Perform manual testing for new features and bug‑fix verification, then translate findings into automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to debug issues and ensure test reliability.
• Champion quality and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of programming concepts and ability to work directly with code.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD workflows.
• Product‑thinking mindset: able to spot missing requirements and ask critical questions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
