Python Developer – Data & AI (International)

About the role

We are seeking a Python Developer to join an international Data & AI team within a leading insurance and financial services company. The role focuses on building high‑performance Python applications and supporting a modern Dataquants platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise high‑performance Python applications.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design.
• Industrialise code using clean‑code principles, TDD, DevOps practices and design patterns.
• Support and mentor other developers on the platform.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote team collaboration.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads and architecture teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience in enterprise software engineering.
• Expertise in Python ecosystems and performance optimisation.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
