Purchasing Assistant (French Speaker)

About the role

Airbus is looking for a motivated Purchasing Assistant who is fluent in French and English to support procurement activities across several European countries. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, handling purchase requests and supporting internal stakeholders while using Airbus' ERP tools.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate Purchase Requests (PRs) from internal customers.
• Create, update and follow up Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP.
• Provide operational sourcing support through the Service Desk.
• Maintain supplier and catalogue information in internal systems.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal buyers to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience or strong interest in supply chain or procurement.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to prioritize urgent requests.
• Willingness to learn new tools and embrace continuous improvement.
• Reliability, rigor and strong concentration at work.
