Project Superintendent

About the role

The Project Superintendent will lead on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are built to design specifications, within budget, and on schedule. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all on‑site functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction effort to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Plan and coordinate subcontractor and craft activities, including manpower, materials, equipment, and temporary power.
• Coordinate work across different trades, company departments, and other contractors.
• Identify and resolve construction issues such as productivity gaps, work‑interface conflicts, and drawing/site condition discrepancies.
• Provide technical assistance, including drawing interpretation and construction method recommendations.
• Assist project management with procedures, documents, and standards.
• Monitor and update schedule progress (daily, weekly, monthly) and develop look‑ahead schedules.
• Implement the Site Specific Safety Plan and participate in the Quality Control program.
• Coordinate with on‑site owner representatives and perform additional assignments as directed.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience as a construction superintendent on medium‑to‑large projects (≈ $40M+).
• Supervisory experience with civil/site work, underground utilities, or building construction.
• Completed OSHA 30 training with documented annual safety training (preferred).
• Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily to the project site.
• Experience with Federal Government clients such as USCG (preferred).
