Project Procurement Manager

About the role

You will own end‑to‑end procurement delivery for assigned projects, guiding the process from bid phase through execution and close‑out. The role ensures cost‑effective, timely supply of materials and services while protecting safety, quality and total cost.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project procurement plans, schedules and package strategies aligned to work breakdown structures.
• Lead RFx processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP), evaluate bids with technical stakeholders and secure governance approvals.
• Negotiate, award and manage contracts, purchase orders and change controls.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage risks, resolve non‑conformances and protect contractual entitlements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Sales, Logistics and Legal to deliver best‑in‑class procurement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, export controls, due‑diligence and sustainability requirements.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification and SAP readiness.

Required profile

• Degree in supply chain, business or a related field.
• 6+ years of procurement experience for engineered products/services in a project environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or equivalent ERP) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using analytical tools for cost‑saving and performance analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with digitalisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives in procurement.
