Project Manager Trainee

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager Trainee to join Siemens Mobility’s Project Execution Team. In this entry‑level position you will support senior project managers in delivering rail and mobility projects on time, within scope and budget, while gaining hands‑on experience in a global engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring and controlling project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Maintain on‑site relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate on‑site works, material deliveries and third‑party activities.
• Track progress against detailed project plans and report deviations.
• Support change‑management processes for scope, schedule and cost adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reports.
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to capture project data.
• Analyse schedules and present alternative scenarios to customers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• Fluent Portuguese language skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret technical information.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Commercial).
