Project Manager – Spanish speaker

About the role

We are seeking a senior Project Manager with strong Spanish language skills to lead SAP‑focused application implementation projects for a leading automotive company establishing a new IT Hub in Portugal. The role involves coordinating international teams and acting as the main liaison for U.S. business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects, from planning through go‑live and stabilization.
• Manage application deployments (not development) and ensure seamless integration of third‑party solutions.
• Define, execute, and share detailed, results‑driven project plans.
• Coordinate cross‑functional and international teams, maintaining alignment and accountability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. business stakeholders.
• Maintain proper governance, regular reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Provide hands‑on support to remove operational blockers.
• Facilitate effective knowledge transfer during transition periods.

Required profile

• Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in international environments.
• Solid background in SAP implementations and project delivery.
• Proven experience in application deployment rather than development.
• Strong track record of coordinating and delivering multi‑country projects.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and interacting frequently with U.S. teams.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments, such as Mexico plants.
• Native or near‑native Spanish proficiency (mandatory).
• Fluent English (mandatory).
