Project Manager – Ports (Relocation to Africa)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Ports to relocate to Africa and lead consultancy and site‑supervision activities for port and marine infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects from planning through construction, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate port and marine infrastructure projects.
• Supervise consultancy and site‑supervision teams during execution.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, HSE compliance and contract performance.
• Review technical submissions, drawings, method statements and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and risk assessments.
• Support procurement, budgeting, scheduling and contract administration.
• Lead site meetings and resolve technical and operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in port, marine or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in consultancy and construction/site supervision roles.
• Strong knowledge of port infrastructure, dredging, quay walls, terminals and marine works.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
• PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.
