Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead medium‑size engineering projects from initiation to closure. You will ensure that every activity complies with policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire cross‑functional project teams, set clear direction, allocate tasks and monitor milestone delivery.
• Define and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget and risk management in collaboration with Project Controls.
• Drive execution excellence, aligning with best practices, internal policies and governance standards.
• Monitor progress, resource utilisation and financial performance (costs, invoicing, cash flow) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively manage risks and opportunities, ensuring effective mitigation and value creation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and key stakeholders, maintaining transparent communication.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to secure materials/services, support negotiations, claims and project changes.
• Ensure full compliance with contract, quality and HSE standards and lead formal project closure, including acceptance and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• More than 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in project management.
• Additional training in project management methodologies.
• Proven experience managing project scope, cost, schedule and vendors/sub‑contractors.
• Customer‑oriented with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to balance internal and external stakeholder expectations.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
