Project Engineer

About the role

Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will join an international engineering team that creates and develops racking solutions for palletized and small goods storage, as well as mezzanine structures. You will be responsible for turning customer requirements into efficient, technically sound designs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical documentation such as RFQs and internal sales reports.
• Develop optimal technical solutions, including layouts, calculations, AutoCAD 2D drawings, technical descriptions, Bills of Materials and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with other engineers to improve accuracy, quality and efficiency.
• Maintain project information according to internal guidelines.
• Act as a technical adviser to the sales team and participate in technical meetings with customers.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in structural design of metallic structures and static calculations (seismic knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for training.
• Proactive, autonomous and strong problem‑solving abilities.
