Project Engineer

About the role

Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will join an international engineering team at stow, a leading supplier of storage solutions. You will devise and develop racking systems and mezzanine structures tailored to customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical documentation such as customer RFQs and internal sales reports.
• Design efficient technical solutions, including layouts, calculations, AutoCAD 2D drawings, technical descriptions, Bills of Materials and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with other engineers to improve accuracy, quality and efficiency.
• Ensure project information is stored according to internal guidelines.
• Act as a technical adviser to the sales team and participate in technical meetings with customers.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in structural design of metallic structures and static calculations (seismic knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for training.
• Proactive, autonomous with strong problem‑solving skills.
