Project Engineer - Capital Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support capital projects across construction, manufacturing, and facilities & utilities. The role involves interpreting design documents, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical interpretation of design documents and execute work according to quality and site requirements.
• Manage project documentation, including change controls, business cases, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors, maintaining effective communication among all parties.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and keep site management informed of any issues.
• Review discipline drawings for inconsistencies and resolve drawing conflicts.
• Interact with sub‑contracts, material management, project controls, and automation tools.
• Coordinate system completion, material requisition, quality control forms, and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in the project management life‑cycle within a regulated industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and act ethically.
