Project Buyer

About the role

The Project Buyer will define and implement purchasing strategies that align with Bontaz Group’s objectives for cost, quality, innovation, risk management, delivery, and corporate social responsibility. Working within the Development Center in Portugal, you will support the company’s transition toward electric, hydrogen, and hybrid mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned product lines or projects.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, R&D, production) to align purchasing activities with project timelines.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, ensuring compliance with CSR and sustainability standards.
