About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons for students in the 2nd and 3rd cycles. The successful candidate will inspire learners, differentiate instruction, and contribute to a vibrant school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum, school policies and external assessment requirements.
• Individualise and differentiate learning to ensure every student is challenged, supported and makes outstanding progress.
• Assess student work regularly, both in‑class and at home, and provide targeted feedback to drive improvement.
• Create a positive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported and willing to take risks.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices and pursue continuous professional development.
• Participate actively in the school’s co‑curricular programme, leading clubs and contributing to whole‑school initiatives.
• Maintain open, constructive communication with parents to build strong partnerships.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for education and the ability to motivate young learners.
• Proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
• Deep subject knowledge in mathematics and the ability to inspire students.
• Experience assessing progress, providing feedback and preparing students for external exams.
• Pastoral care experience with a focus on student wellbeing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS or equivalent) with strong academic credentials; postgraduate study is a plus.
