Production Scheduler

About the role

The Production Scheduler will manage material inputs, capacity planning, and schedule execution to ensure timely product delivery and optimal inventory levels for Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, control and execute MRP processes, maintaining data integrity to meet purchasing and production planning goals.
• Manage daily production pull, reconcile hot lists, and adjust capacity planning for electrical product lines.
• Generate and review reports on schedule units, lead‑times, and on‑time performance; perform root‑cause analysis for service level issues.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineers, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to handle expedites, schedule changes, and overdue items.
• Maintain SCM system processes (Vista, Mapics), upload forecasts, and ensure order acknowledgment and synchronization.
• Provide finance with sales projections, backlog and margin reports; support purchasing with key product information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to prioritize, respond quickly to changing conditions, and manage multiple high‑pressure projects.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system and MS Office suite.
• Experience using Minitab for data analysis.
• Knowledge of SCM systems such as Vista and Mapics, and MRP/MPS processes.
• Familiarity with Clean to Build tool and MPS attainment reporting.
