Production Operator

About the role

Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Facilitator, you will operate non‑complex production equipment, assemble, package and inspect medical‑device products on a high‑volume line. The role includes on‑the‑job training of new associates and active participation in team meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform assembly, packaging, and in‑line inspection following approved procedures.
• Receive, verify, and document materials to ensure compliance with data forms and quality standards.
• Identify and remove defective parts, reporting deviations immediately to the Manufacturing Facilitator.
• Record production data legibly and accurately in accordance with GMP, QSR and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Assist the Shift Leader with raw‑material, work‑in‑process and product reconciliation.
• Support the Set‑up Operator with equipment changeovers, preventive maintenance and routine issue resolution.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and pursue cost‑reduction opportunities.

Required profile

• High‑school graduate with the ability to read and write in English (Spanish preferred).
• Six months to one year experience in production, preferably in pharmaceutical or medical‑device manufacturing.
• Team‑player with good communication skills and initiative.
• Physical ability to stand most of the shift, walk short distances and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Production equipment operation.

• Accurate handwritten data recording following GMP procedures.
