Production Operator – BACTEC Runner

About the role

Waters is seeking a Production Operator Runner for its BACTEC line. The role supports high‑volume, regulated manufacturing of life‑science products, ensuring equipment is started, monitored, and maintained according to strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Start up equipment following approved procedures and record data in the Batch Control Record (BCR).
• Monitor product quality and perform machine work in compliance with QSR, ISO, and safety regulations.
• Set up, clean, and maintain equipment including palletizer, labeling, and packaging machines.
• Prepare BACTEC pallets, move them to the warehouse, and store them correctly.
• Notify shift leader of any deviations and assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, especially around robotic palletizer machines.
• Produce BACTEC configurations, shrink‑wrap finished goods, and document product reconciliation per pallet.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts safely while moving finished pallets to storage.

Required profile

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (QSR, ISO) and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and product handling.
