Production & Maintenance Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Production & Maintenance Quality Assurance Engineer is part of Richemont’s Group Technology Product Domain “Operations & Services”. Embedded in the Manufacturing Operations area, the role ensures that software components supporting production execution, maintenance management, quality management and logistics are reliable, consistent and fit‑for‑purpose across a composable ecosystem of SAP, SaaS, low‑code and event‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering feature validation, end‑to‑end flows, scalability and regression testing.
• Develop, maintain and run test cases, test plans and automated test suites for SAP PP, SAP EWM, MES, CMMS and quality‑management applications.
• Collaborate with product teams to embed quality standards, raise engineering practices and ensure continuous delivery without regressions.
• Track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps, verify fixes and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Validate integration points, APIs and event‑driven architectures to guarantee data consistency across the unified namespace.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or engineering qualification in Information Technology with a focus on Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a consulting environment serving industrial settings.
• Proven ability to design test cases, manage test campaigns and work within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Test management tools: TestRail, Zephyr.
• Bug tracking tools: Jira, Azure DevOps.
• API testing and integration knowledge.
• Familiarity with SAP PP, SAP EWM, Rhize MES, MaintainX CMMS, Qualaxy, Elistat.
• Understanding of IIoT concepts and ISA‑95 data hierarchy.
